By accessing or using the Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA) website (“Site”), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

  • KPHA may communicate with you via email regarding event updates

5. Acceptable Conduct & Member Behavior

KPHA is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment—both online and at our events. By using the KPHA website or participating in KPHA activities, members and participants agree to:

  • Treat all individuals with courtesy, professionalism, and respect
  • Avoid harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive conduct
  • Refrain from posting, sharing, or transmitting content that is unlawful, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate
  • Not engage in disruptive behavior that interferes with KPHA events, meetings, or online member interactions
  • Use the job board and member directory solely for professional purposes, and refrain from unsolicited advertising or spam
  • Comply with all venue rules when attending in-person events
  • Respect the privacy of other members and avoid collecting or distributing their personal information without consent

KPHA reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to restrict, remove, or terminate a user’s access to the website, membership features, or events for violations of this conduct policy.

6. Photography & Media Use

By attending KPHA events, you consent to:

  • Being photographed or recorded
  • KPHA using your image or likeness for promotional, educational, or archival purposes
  • Images being published on the KPHA website, social media, or external platforms like Flickr

To request removal of a photo, contact us at the email below. Removal is at KPHA’s reasonable discretion and may not apply to previously printed materials.

7. Payment & Refunds

Payments for memberships, events, or other services are processed by third-party providers. KPHA is not responsible for errors originating from third-party payment systems. Refund policies will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, logos, graphics, documents, images, videos, and software—is owned by KPHA or its licensors. You may not:

  • Remove copyright or watermark notices
  • Redistribute or modify content without permission
