Share Your Impact – “Tell Your Local Health Department Success Story”
Kentucky’s local health departments (LHDs) are leading innovative efforts to strengthen the public health workforce – from creative training programs and mentoring opportunities to new strategies for recruitment and retention. These initiatives not only build staff skills and capacity but also support stronger, healthier communities.
To capture and celebrate this important work, the Kentucky Health Departments Association (KHDA) is partnering with Kentucky’s LHDs and the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) to collect your success stories through the LHD Success Story Form.
The LHD Success Story Form aims to gather information about public health workforce development initiatives supported by the KHDA and KDPH contract, as well as the CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG).
By submitting your success story, you’ll help showcase the impact of public health workforce development initiatives across the state and provide valuable examples that other agencies can learn from. These stories may be featured in reports, newsletters, websites and/or presentations to highlight how workforce investments are driving change.
Please take a few minutes to share your success through the LHD Success Story Form – we want to recognize your efforts and help tell the story of how LHDs are building a stronger public health workforce throughout Kentucky.
