Member Spotlight - September, 2024

Our KPHA Chapter at the University of Louisville has been extremely involved with our Louisville community and Cardinal community this past year. We have been able to hold events such as a QPR training for our students, partner with Kentucky Refugee Ministries at their Mobile Food Pantry, hold a 3 Minute Thesis Event, and a LinkedIn/Resume Workshop. We have held several social events partnering with our School of Public Health Student Government Association as well. Our main focus as an organization has been to extend our impact across campus and plan events to better our community while spreading Public Health awareness.

Our focus this fall semester will be to partner with other RSOs on campus and collaborate on some events with the Kentucky Refugee Ministries. We are also planning to partner with our Pre-Dental Society to hold a service event combining the interests of oral health and public health. Our organization is open to all students at the University of Louisville regardless of their affiliation with the School of Public Health. We hope to get more students involved with our organization and can’t wait to see what we achieve this year!
