Grants and Planning Coordinator [Code: GPCO]

The Administration Division is accepting applications for a full time (40+ hours/week) Grants and Planning Coordinator to support work functions directly related to planning and grants and to perform related duties. This position will be based at our District office in Florence but may travel within our region. We could be waiting for YOU!

Starting Pay Rate: $21.39 - $25.77/Hour

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinates grant activities as assigned. (Communicates and reviews potential grant opportunities with divisions. Reviews grant proposals and applications for completeness and accuracy. Works with program staff to communicate and monitor the grant life cycle from proposal to close. Coordinates and collects data for grant audits. Communicates audit results to relevant staff.)

  2. Coordinates student activities as assigned. (Application Process: Shares applications. Schedules and follows up on interviews. Onboarding: Schedules start dates. Ensures learning agreement is in place and sent. Ensures workspace, email and computer access are set up. Guides students through the first day by sending orientation and first day email. Works with colleges and programs to ensure a signed affiliation agreement is in place then files the agreement. Ensures onboarding documents are processed. Offboarding: Ensures ID badges, orientation materials and exit checklists are collected. Ensures students are invited to complete evaluations. Notifies others to shut down e-mail and computer access. Ensures offboarding documents are processed. Other: Manages survey data of the experience for student and preceptor. Coordinates other assigned tasks.

  3. Assists with Budgeting and Planning and Activities. (Assists with gathering and assembling information related to Community Health Assessment (CHA), Community Health Improvement Plans (CHIP), and program plans. Assists with tracking progress towards organizational goals. Assists with accreditation activities.

  4. Completes special projects. (Responds to public health emergencies as assigned. Completes other special projects.)

  5. Performs other duties. (Attends work as scheduled or use approved leave. Collaborates in and contributes to individual, team, and/or organizational quality improvement and evaluation activities. Participates in internal and external meetings. Serves on internal and external committees. Completes timecard. Completes travel reports. Completes required training. Completes other assigned duties.)

 

Minimum Pre-Hire Qualifications:  A valid, active driver’s license, reliable transportation and any of the following is required prior to appointment date:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Human Services, or related field from an accredited university/college.
  • Coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Sociology, Social Work, Applied Science, or related field.
  • The equivalent combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
