G0LFERS GET READY TO SCRAAAMBLE!
Oh, are we in the midst of winter doldrums or what? The long, cold, gray days may cause severe cases of cabin fever in many of us. But in a few short months, warm weather will again prevail and many of us will then be prone to develop another fever. Ah ha, green fever that is! The only sure fire remedy for that ailment is to play golf. So, mark your calendars and reserve Monday, June 21, 2010 for the 7th Annual KPHA Dudley Conner Golf Scramble. It will again be held at the beautiful Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. There will be a 1:00 p.m. (EDT) shotgun start. A cost of $65 per person includes green fee, cart, large buffet lunch, refreshments and prizes galore! A cost of $450 for companies or agencies includes registration for 4 players, 2 complimentary mulligans per player and a $200 hole sponsorship. Save $50 on this $500 value!
Make plans now. Get your teams lined up. Your participation will not only ensure a wonderful day of fun and golf but will help make a significant contribution to the KPHA College Scholarship Fund. Last year, 25 hole sponsors, 136 registered players and 31 prize/cash donors generated $5,750 for the scholarship fund. You can help us beat that in 2010!
If you would like to be a sponsor, donate a prize or cash, or register to play, complete and mail the registration form posted on this website, www.kpha-ky.org. For more information, call the KPHA office at (502) 875-2255 or Bruce Lane at (502) 425-1829 or Suzie Hamm at (606) 584-1051. Players don’t delay. A limited number of slots will fill fast.
